There are few places in the world where sunrise feels as magical as it does in El Nido. Long before the beaches begin to fill with visitors, the limestone cliffs slowly emerge from the darkness while the first rays of sunlight paint the sky in warm shades of gold and orange.

Launching the drone at dawn offered a completely different perspective of this tropical paradise. Calm waters reflected the colorful morning sky, hidden lagoons remained perfectly still, and the islands seemed untouched by time. Every flight revealed another breathtaking composition waiting to be captured.

For me, this wasn’t simply about filming another beautiful destination. It was about preserving a fleeting moment that only exists for a few minutes each morning. Those quiet moments before the world wakes up are often become the most memorable memories of the journey.

Few landscapes in the world are as unique as Taal Volcano. Rising from an island within a lake, surrounded by mountains, it creates a breathtaking scene that changes constantly with the light and weather.

Filming Taal from above offered a completely new perspective of one of the Philippines’ most iconic natural wonders. Early morning clouds drifted across the lake while the first sunlight revealed the dramatic contours of the volcano and its surrounding landscape. Every flight felt different, with changing colors, reflections and atmospheric conditions creating new compositions.

More than simply capturing a beautiful location, this journey was about showcasing the incredible contrast between peaceful scenery and the powerful forces of nature that shaped it. Taal reminds us that some of the world’s most extraordinary places are also among its most dynamic.
